Following the launch of the Better Internet for Kids (BIK) portal which aims to provide a central hub of information and resources on internet safety including a dedicated youth corner, the content of the Youth Manifesto website has been gradually migrated there. You can also subscribe to our quarterly Better Internet for Kids (BIK) bulletin to keep informed of better internet issues. Each edition provides a topical focus article looking at the latest online trends, with features from youth, industry and the research community, along with a mix of news and resources from other key stakeholders. News And the winners are... 27/10/2014 We are pleased to have received dozens of resources from young people for the Youth Manifesto initiative. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all participants for their entries and votes. It was particularly great to see resources from different countries and regions representing the diverse viewpoints of the youth of Europe today. The winning entries were as follows:
The winners have been contacted and youth representatives from winning teams will participate in the Safer Internet Forum 2014 in Brussels next week (6-7 November). There, they will further share their ideas on future priorities for a Better Internet along with Insafe Youth panellists from across Europe. You can also still vote for the proposals that will form the final Youth Manifesto to be submitted to the policy makers in February 2015 – the deadline for votes is 21 November 2014.
